MGOCSM Youth GroupThe Mar Gregorios Orthodox Christian Student Movement (MGOCSM) is the official young adult/youth group organization of the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church, now stretching to everywhere the Church is located. The North American chapter seeks to forward its mission of "Worship, Study, and Service" by providing support to high school through college aged youth to:

1. To deepen the spiritual life of its Orthodox members.
2. To prepare them to be responsible citizens in the Church and Society
3. To encourage them to commit themselves for sacrificial service in the Church and Society
Those seeking direction, leadership, and spiritual development are supported though bible studies, retreats, mission trips, and leadership conferences.
In Spokane, MGOCSM seeks to support youth in their growing faith by providing events, fellowship, and spiritual direction. During September through May, youth from the St. Gregorios meet regularly for bible study/fellowship and service projects in the community. Our Young Adults group participants in a number of community activities like the annual Second Harvest Food Bank Turkey Drive and Christmas Caroling. Fellowship activities include: Silverwood, Ice Skating, Dinner get-togethers, and much more!
